Treat yourself as a KING..!!

Welcome to the new chapter.
I'm sure from the previous chapter, you made a list of all the things that come under time waste.
If you didn't, read that article, and do it.
What do I mean by: treat yourself as a king?
Become arrogant, think you are superior than everyone else, and deserve special treatment?
Nope.
I want to talk about this idea that hard work means, putting everything you have no matter what.
That is largely how we see motivation too.
We think it will help us to work for 18 hours at a stretch.
Indian parents even brag about this shit (16-16 घंटे पढ़ता था मेरा लड़का).
This idea that hard work means not eating, not sleeping, not resting, is stupid.
It's a paradox.
If you do not eat, sleep or rest, you won't be able to work.
You need energy, energy comes from food; you need focus, focus comes when your body is calm, ready and well-rested.
But don't take this the wrong way : don't oversleep.
Don't overfeed yourself.
Don't sleep or eat at uneven hours.
Your body becomes the treatment it receives.
Your mind is part of your body.
To make it work in the best possible manner, you will need to train it, not abuse it.
When you abuse it, the loss is yours.
Instead of working for 18 hours in a day, start with working for 1 hours a day, and then increase the hours gradually.
It you have decided that you are going to have your lunch at 12 PM everyday, then do so no matter what.
Even if you are in the middle of something very important, take a break and eat sufficiently.
Your body will reward you for that.
You have to eat three or four meals a day if you want to succeed.
You have to sleep for a minimum 7 hours a day, if you want your mind to maintain its learning capabilities.
Also, start running every day for 20 minutes - that is the minimum I am asking you to do.
Running or any form of physical training increases your focus by 20%.
Why? by training yourself, you're introducing discipline in your regime.
When you train yourself in any area that requires physical exertion you inculcate the habit of doing things systematically.
Understand if you want to become a champion, you will have to keep your mind in check.
If you keep unchecked, you will spend all day doing random shit, because their is no system.
How do you train it?
Running, exercise, developing a daily schedule - when to eat, when to sleep, simple things.
But it's hard, it's doing even the simple things, right?
What you have right now is an untrained brain, it lives in chaos, it does random shit, and it is used to receiving great pleasure from doing nothing.
But if you build a system, force your mind to follow it for a couple of days, soon it will transform into habits.
And then you will have no problem.
Another reason why you start should start working out is, presentation.
Presentation is crucial.
Now it could be that you hate working out.
Hear me out.
This must have happened with you, that you looked at someone and were awed by their personality.
Just by looking at them, you were impressed.
Let's break it down, humans like to look at pleasant things and we avoid looking at things we find unattractive.
I am sorry but that is just the way we have usually trained our brains.
After all, we perceive everything through our eyes, the first contact is made visually, so your very first impression will be made on how you appear visually.
When you are in the radar of the person you want to impress, but to look at yourself from their perspective.
Are you captivating enough?
And this has nothing to do with looking sexy.
Let me repeat it, humans subconsciously like to look at pretty things.
Now I am not asking you to become Lady Gaga.
I am asking you to become presentable.
At this point, you might think, but I am not that good looking.
This is the first myth, presentation has nothing to do with looks, but it has everything to do with appearance.
If you have yellow teeth, start brushing twice, if you sweat esily,  use perfume, your hair should always be properly cut doesn't matter which hairstyles you choose.
But there should be a hairstyles and not the absence of it.
Buy a good quality trimmer so you don't have to shave or visit the barber everyday.
Wear clean clothes, and not crumpled shit.
People will form opinion on the way you look, and because opinions are made in the mind, you won't get the chance to defend yourself.
Your only option is, influence those opinion in your favor.
Why are these changes important?
Because psychologically, we prefer to be around tidy, presentable people.
It gives the impression that one has a good company.
You will find that people will be extra nice to you, they would like to be around you, your boss will start including you in tasks, he will trust you more.
You know why?
Because your efforts to maintain yourself show others that you are sure of yourself, which they take as a sign of confidence, even if you don't have any.
I will tell you the greatest secret to fooling everyone into thinking you're fucking confident, just learn to smile confidently, learn to wear a graceful smile, and keep your mouth shut.
People will adore you.
Maybe it's a wrong thing to learn, but unfortunately, this is the real world, and as a great writer once said, behind every fortune there is a crime.
The next time you go out, just take a look at how people dress themselves, carry themselves, and you will notice, that your mind is automatically forming opinions on them based on their appearances.
Because it's true, your appearance is a refecrefle of your being.
If you work out, it shows you care about your body, you are a person who doesn't mind engaging in hard work; if you are dressed up properly, people will assume you are very particular, which means you care, therefore you are responsible.
It is that simple to make anyone think you are responsible just from your appearance.
So get in shape, start working out, develop a routine, eat, sleep, and drinking lots of water, wear better clothes, I guarantee you, people will notice this change, and gradually start respecting you out of nowhere.
You want to be a king?
Then treat yourself like a king.
And a great amout of respect can easily be garanered simply by your impression.
Meanwhile, you are already working on yourself, making yourself better, developing your abilities, fulfilling your 90%.
Keep all this in perspective, tell me, how can you not succeed?
If you do the things I am asking you, the change in your life is certain.

“The way you carry yourself will often determine how you are treated: In the long run, appearing vulgar or common will make people disrespect you. For a king respects himself and inspires the sentiment in others. By acting regally and confident of your powers, you make yourself seem destined to wear a crown”

– Robert Greene.
